Special Response Teams

Special Response Teams are under the regional Police department headquarters in each of 8 regions of Slovak republic,

Special Response Teams tasks are:

police training of shooting and selfdefence of regional HQ
pyrotechnical actions
diving actions
participating with other police departments (criminal police, patrol police) near high risk operations
Public safety guarding
protection of VIP (with special protection unit of Bureau of special protection – VIP and diplomatic missions)

This unit is under direct command of Director of Regional police dep. headquarters, They are participating on all tasks from Police act.
